So because Ron Paul never voted for a raise in spending and actually tried to push legislation through to cut the spending, he has won Taxpayers' Friend Award from the National Taxpayers Union.

Out of the 15 years of the National Taxpayers Union conducting this award; Ron Paul has won this award for all of those 15 years.
