As the Senate passed S. 1867, to go to the Congress. More and more has been seen on what would happen if it was passed through Congress into an actual law; which could happen as soon as December 14, 2011.
Of course one of the most controversial creations of the S. 1867 (H.R. 1540), is the right for the President to jail whomever he wants; without even a reason, and the person jailed could be held indefinitely.
As an indefinite imprisonment of someone is the most controversial thing in the bill, that of course does not mean it is the only thing. As another controversial thing in this bill is the repealing of Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
Here below is Article 125:
“(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.
(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall by punished as a court-martial may direct.”
So our Senators are saying, if you are a person; then the President may jail you for life with no reason at all, then when the Army comes to Jail you, they see you have a dog, then they can Rape your dog, legally.
Yeah the paragraph above may sound really unrealistic, but the thing is; it would be legal. Why would we allow these weird stories to become legal. As this story is a long shot, it is also something we need to think about.
Will you let your congressman/woman pass a law that makes it so your family can be jailed for life; and will let your family dog get raped.
Why would we even let our soldiers, use their time when they are suppose to protect our country; have sex with what ever Animal they want.
This is idiotic, the next thing we will hear is a soldier could have helped out a lot of soldiers; but the soldier was way too busy humping a camel.
