The rule of law was not followed here. Normally, an arrest warrant would be issued, then the person being arrested would be read their rights, then booked at a police station, then appointed a lawyer. The police in this case have violated his rights & should be sued, along with anyone else involved in his detention, including the mental health center he was taken to.
