On June 12, 2012, Rand Paul went on The Peter Schiff Show to explain his endorsement to Mitt Romney.
In the beginning of the interview Rand Paul did agree with Lemon Global that Ron Paul will have at least 1,000 delegates in Tampa.
This interview I believe was suppose to ease tensions about his endorsement, but really this interview only showed how far Rand Paul is from ever being in the Liberty Movement again.
Rand in this interview said that he thinks Romney is better than Obama (even though there is no significant difference) because Mitt Romney flip-flopped in a meeting with him.
A major importance in this interview is that he exposed that the Ron Paul Campaign was working with him to try to make the endorsement not look as bad (this is when they sent the bipolar emails).
But still Rand Paul is still a friend in the Senate, but this interview at least in my view will not help him ultimately.
This interview showed that Rand Paul is ignorant to the fact that Mitt Romney is a flip-flopper. Also Rand Paul doesn't understand still that the movement is bases around peace, and that he cannot lead a movement based around peace when he votes for sanctions (an act of war) on Iran.
But altogether Rand did explain that he doesn't absolutely endorse Romney's every action but rather want to influence him. To me this still is not a enough as Rand is still staying ignorant and is believing the lies of a flip-flopper.
Rand also by saying how he has a "great deal of respect for John McCain," and then jokes about it is just scary.
But what can you expect from the recent Neocon Rand Paul who votes for sanctions just like John McCain.
